| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 forest river vibe extreme lite travel trailer equipped with lionshead castle rock tires, size: st225/75/r15 (na). While towing the camper with a 2017 ford expedition at approximately 60 mph, the rear passenger tire of the camper blew out. Roadside assistance was called and changed the tire. After towing the rv for approximately 40 miles, the front driver's tire also blew out. The contact called roadside assistance again and had the camper tire repaired. The camper was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered to replace all four tires with the same type of tires originally installed from the factory. The approximate tire failure mileage was 500. |
